About
I’m a writer, editor and content specialist with more than a decade of experience in journalism, digital publishing and editorial leadership.
I most recently worked as a reporter at 9fin, a debt intelligence platform, covering distressed debt and corporate restructurings.
Before that, I spent more than seven years at Commercial Observer, a commercial real estate publication, first as a reporter and later as a Web Editor. In that role, I led a team of reporters and freelancers and oversaw the publication’s daily digital coverage.
My work has also appeared at the local news startup DNAinfo, Patch, the Huffington Post, the New York Daily News, Gothamist, City Limits magazine and the Staten Island Advance.
Over the course of my career, I’ve written about everything from complex corporate bankruptcies and commercial real estate to local New York City politics and neighborhood issues. I’ve also managed editorial calendars, launched newsletters, developed multimedia and interactive projects, and built editorial workflows and documentation.
I’m relocating with my wife and dog to Amsterdam in October after spending my career in my hometown of New York City. I’m looking to bring my experience to opportunities in content, communications and editorial strategy, especially in roles that require clear writing, strong storytelling skills and the ability to turn complicated subject matter into understandable copy.
